Crossed look with Tazzio
A shared look with the photographer Tazzio. His photographic work is nourished by impromptu encounters, which take as its subject strangers whose path he crosses by chance during his wanderings. Tazzio borrows these anonymous people from their daily lives, and, in his open-air studio, questions beauty and desire, to write the fantasized story of the encounter.
Steeped in cinema and painting, Tazzio's work is part of a pictorial approach to photography. The ashen light of the Portraits freezes time and imprints the skin on the rough surface of an absent decor. In a stripping of the flesh that borders on abstraction, the pose suggests an off-screen, the possibility of elsewhere.
Tazzio's work with POLOCHON presents itself as a staging of desire...
