The taste of shapes

It was born from our artisanal know-how: a patented process which radically transforms the design of bags.

The principle? An assembly method where the lining also becomes the structural reinforcement which makes it possible to eliminate all the other usual reinforcements.

From there, a new art of the bag is developed. A happy alliance of contrasts, between sensuality of forms, ergonomics and technicality:

  • New curved volumes : spacious containers with a pleasant feel.
  • Saving materials : lightweight models with a reduced ecological footprint.
  • Elastic consistency : volumes that are both structured and flexible.
  • Shape memory : the bags adjust to the body but keep their shape over time.

The culmination of a journey

  • 15 years of research and everything becomes possible. In particular a machine designed with Centrale Lille Projets and the development of an ecological glue with the junior enterprise of INSA Lyon.

  • At the same time, it is 25 years of creation on our artisanal collection, at the heart of a manufacturing renewal project in the Goutte d'Or district of Paris.

  • Finally, it is two centuries of DNA of Maison DOGNIN, with the invention of Lyon lace which combined the best of industry with artistic crafts.

By purchasing a copy of the first series of these revolutionary bags in advance, you are also contributing to the project's take-off!

You will follow with us the entire process from the start of the manufacturing to the delivery of your bag. In particular, a special leather (or any other material of similar consistency) and a special fabric for the lining are required, both materials that we will develop especially for the occasion.

  • At this point you can already choose from three models; each is available in different sizes.
  • Then you can choose the color of your bag, its lining and certain personalization elements.

Prestigious: The POLOCHON

This is the original bag, from which the process was born. Its body is made of a single piece of leather that implements the process over its entire surface. The result is a unique shape that earned it the APCI Design Observer label for the “renewal of forms”.

A refined volume that lends itself to receiving a work of art. This is why it has already been the subject of various partnerships with internationally renowned artists. Moreover, in its first very artisanal and experimental version, it had the privilege of appearing several times on Samantha's arm in Sex and the City .

A bag designed for a presentation evening at the Senate. It is a briefcase. The process gives it an elegant tapered shape, which can at the same time hold your many files.

This model is unisex, meaning it can match all genders, even the most virile. It closes by itself at the top, again thanks to the process that curves the edges, to make them flexible with shape memory.

A small bag that opens and closes like a "click-clack" purse. But it does not contain any metal parts, the spring effect results only from the process.
