Praise for form

The inspiration for this bag came from Moscow: it takes its name from the famous GUM (“GOUM” in French) shopping mall on Red Square, and its shape is inspired by the onion domes that abound in the Moscow skyline. A mischievous salamander appears as if on a surface of water.

In its largest version, the GOUM becomes an ideal man’s travel bag. It is made of the finest natural leathers (full-grain kipskin, vegetable tanning) and is fully hand-sewn.

Its base is very deep and enables well-ironed cloths to be laid flat on it. Last-minute small items that you were about to forget can be slipped into the pointed portion at the top of the bag.

And with its ergonomic shape, the bag nestles snugly and pleasingly under the arm.
